P+R Parking Lots and Parking Garages
The establishment of P+R (“Park and Ride”) parking lots aims to reduce the amount of individual car traffic heading towards the city center and residential areas, and to allow visitors to park directly at railway stations in towns and villages of the region or at the city's entry points, with the option to transfer to public transport.
Within the Bratislava self-governing region, several P+R parking lots are established, for example, at the railway stations in Malacky, Pezinok, or Svätý Jur.
